Liliana Perodeau is a professional landscape designer.
In the course of years of painting she explored watercolours, icon paintings in tempera, and eventually acrylics and collage techniques.
Fascinated by nature, light and shadow plus human interactions, she expresses past and present, often subconsciously. Her work has evolved into a freestyle mixture of abstract and representation, where objects can be identified in midst of bright colors and nonfigurative shapes.
Liliana enjoys applying various materials to canvas to create textured and tactile surfaces. The process of layering colors and shapes, watching them move and merge, creating images that suggest the landscapes and places she’s been to and hopes to revisit. |
