The Artists

I was born in London, England and spent 28 years of my life there. I left high school with an “A” level in Art and after many jobs that really didn’t suit me, I finally went to Art College where I graduated with “Merit” and 1st prize for my thesis on “Lithuanian Folk Art” (both my parents were Lithuanian).

I then took a three-year course in “Printed Textiles” and I became a textile Artist, working in London, and later here in Montreal.

After retiring from textile design, where I learned to paint in many different styles and textures, I took several courses to keep up my artistic talents, including Faux Finishing and furniture painting, but recently seem to have found my niche as my passion now is painting in acrylics and waterclours, sometimes mixing the media.

I take my inspiration mainly from nature and animal life.
