Atmo Zakes

Atmo Zakes began his artistic education with a three-year course in professional photography and visual arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal (1970-73). His first solo painting exhibition was a group show of watercolors and drawings in Trausse, France, in 1995, and another at John Abbott College in 2001.

She does commissioned work, including architectural paintings of public spaces, animal portraits, and houses. Atmo's paintings have been featured in art association exhibitions and galleries. This summer, 50 of her works were displayed in three public spaces in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, showcasing her watercolors, dry pastels, acrylics, and oils, as well as mixed-media pieces incorporating image transfers, Eastern techniques, and collage.
