Founded in 1984, the Beaconsfield Artists Association is the heart of art lovers residing in and around Beaconsfield.

We are based at the historic Centennial Building located at 288 Blvd. Beaconsfield in Beaconsfield, where we hold our monthly meetings. We also meet at other locations and have online meetings and exhibitions.

We welcome members who share our passion for visual art such as painting, drawing, engraving, sculpture, ceramics, and this at all levels of skill, whether professional or amateur.

Our mission

Our association aims to be a source of inspiration and artistic growth for its members.

We try to contribute to the well-being of the community whenever possible.

The Association donates a percentage of sales to non-profit organizations.

What we do

The AAB is involved in a variety of activities, including workshops, life drawing sessions, art clinics, and art outings.

Each month we invite speakers who give fascinating demonstrations and presentations on various subjects and media including watercolor, mixed media, oil, acrylic, pastel and ceramics.

The newsletter “The Artists’ Link” is sent by email before the date of the meeting to announce to members the events and activities that will take place.

Exposure

We hold two annual exhibitions, one in the spring and the other in the fall, at the Centennial Building or online.

Weather permitting, we organize “Art in the Park” in the summer.

These events are the highlights of the Association, giving members the opportunity to exhibit and sell their works.

The “People’s Choice” award is presented to the artist whose work has received the most votes of admiration from the general public.

Come join us!

We encourage artists of all ages to join us.
