Tribute to Barbara Simmons
My deepest sympathies to Richard and family.
As an artist, I had the pleasure of spending time with Barbara over the years. I first met her through the Beaconsfield Artists’ Association, where she was a member for many years. Then, through the Lakeshore Artists’ Association. She was a great person, and I have fond memories of her.
She taught many great artists the art of watercolors for years.
Her compositions were impressive and stunningly beautiful, with an avant-garde structure and flamboyant colors.
She greatly influenced me to pursue my love of vibrant, colorful flowers.
I extend my sympathies from the Beaconsfield Artists Association.
