Anna Evangelista

Anna prefers to work in graphic media, exploring combinations using watercolours, pastels, and collage. Her art focuses on universal themes and the human condition. Recently, her international works dealt with nature in her environmental series. She switched from toxic etching to pure pigments in pastel painting and to soy-based inks for printmaking. Anna creates at her studio, Atelier Matrix, with her research into the practice of non-toxic printmaking.

Anna was recently invited to exhibit in Mapping Printmaking (2025), 11th International Printmaking Biennial Douro (2023), and 5 Global Print (2022), curated by Director Nuno Canelas, in Alijo, Portugal. Participation in over 125 exhibitions nationally and internationally. Collections found in public/private sectors in 15 countries. Professional Status from RAAV (1997). Prize from the National Congress of Italo-Canadians.
