DOINA FALCON FalDo

During her childhood, Doina studied art for four years with Octavian Olariu, a renowned Montreal sculptor.

which sowed the seed of his passion for the arts. In 2005, after studying oil painting for 2 years

With Ghulam Mustafa, she has just begun to pursue her dream, by painting regularly.

Painting brings her joy and is for her a form of meditation, a look at herself. Over the years, she has perfected her techniques by taking several painting courses and participating in art workshops.

She paints in oil, acrylic, ink, charcoal, watercolor and mixed media, primarily in abstract expressionism and non-figurative realism.

Her artistic approach is a search for all manifestations of energy and love, expressed through her dynamic and spontaneous canvases, full of color and light.

Doina actively participates in solo and group exhibitions.

By 2025, the number of his exhibitions had reached 150, including 12 solo exhibitions, notably at Galerie Valmi, Galerie Lenoir, Studio 77, Maison Trestler, Galerie Boa, Galerie Ambigu, Salon Schonfield, Salon des Gouverneurs at the Centre Leonardo Da Vinci, and Galerie Viva Vida.

at the EK Voland Gallery, the Museum and the Montreal Art Centre, etc.

The highlight of his career was the retrospective exhibition of 20 years of artistic creation ("Inspire…Breathe In"), presented in January 2025 at the Saint-Laurent Recreation Centre. The two-level gallery housed 140 paintings.

2025 – UAPMR.Ca Jury Prize for “Vision, for a unique artistic voice and perspective”

Doina was recognized as a professional artist in 2024.

Since that date, she has been a member of the RAAV (Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels).

She is a member of several other artistic associations.

His paintings are part of private collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, India and Israel.
